How to configure controllers and agents for visual studio load test

In this post I am going to show you how to configure load test envoirment as we know when you need to generate huge load you need multiple machine, a single machine P4 with 512 ram can simulate maximum 350 user so if hen we talk about load of 10,000 users we need to increase number of machines too for generating this load. Therefore we need controller and agent
What you mean by controller and Agent:
Controller is a software running on a physical machine that controls working of all agents and distributes load over them. Whereas Agent is a software too running on physical machine but this software is binded with some controller software which controls all its working generated HTTP requests from physical machine by interacting with agent and fetching logs from agent is done by controller.

Installing controller and agent
Configuring and starting controller
Open controller from menu

Select this account and Provide system administrator AD credentials
Open Load Testing link
Provide SQL Server instance address
Click Apply Settings
Wait for controller to start

Starting and binding Agent with Controller
Goto machine where you installed agent
Open Test Agent

Select User Name and provide AD user name And password of machine.
Provide Controller machine name or IP
Click Apply settings
Wait for controller to start

In same way configure as many agents with your controller machine
